Cambelt change.... When!!??

  Fiesta Zetec s
Hi guys and girls im new on here. I drive a Fiesta Zetec S at the moment and im thinking of upgrading to a clio 172. Just wondered when the cambelt change is due on them? Ive been lookin at 02, 52 plates with between 30-50k miles. Also is there any major things i should look out for when buying one?

Also what sort of price do renualt charge for the cambelt change??

Any replys would be great,

Cheers

Dan

72k or 5 years. I think they're around £500-600 quid, not sure. You're better off finding a Renault specialist rather than a dealer. Tell us where you are and you'll get told where's best to go.

Ah, Edde replied. Listen to him over me, he's a Clio guru.

good move getting a 172 from a zetec.
If you buy an 02/52 then cambelt should be done as it is due. If you buy a low mileage example then get it done early. Costs vary but mine will be costing £440 all in.
