cambelt change

i was lookin thru my service history earlier on and realised my car hasn't had a cambelt or pulleys changed, it's currently on 51k shud i get them changed o wot coz it says in the service book these shud be done at 72k

Aux belt is 15k overdue and cambelt is fine for another year or till you reach 72k

are these aux belt's expensive and will it still be ok 2 drive for another week or so??

As you've left the aux belt so long i'd be temted to get everything done in one go cambelt to.

Everything would be about £450

Don't know how much just a aux belt is.

But you'd have to have another aux belt when the cambelt was due.

ah f##k, just had 2 pay £350 for an exhaust plus we just had our first kid on wednesday, sik ov these french piece's ov crap i shuda went jap or german, cheers for the info m8

aux belt is 22quid from k tec or if you aint got air con then its 16 quid.
so beans really.
the cam belt kit is 135. ive had a look about and thats a pretty good price.
mine needs done too!
so for 150 quid youll have all you need. its prob a 4 hr job in a garage if your not doing it yourself.

ain't doin it m8, cars goin, gettin a family car as we'v just had first kid (lexus is 200 supercharged) still need speed but the car's totally smoother than the clio!

Just been quoted £620 for cambelt & aux belt change.

Chasing up water pump, said prob throw that in. Well is a ford dealer that has just taken over renault..

Might need to get that in writing..
