Cambelt Change :(

Hi all,

I have another 4k before my cambelt needs changing. Does anyone know/used a decent garage in Manchester/Stockport to have this done? Also is it worth having anything else done at the same time?

I'm currently looking at getting Renualt to do it, they have quoted £600.

No, The timing and aux belts were changed at 30353. The car has done 67k.

Yes but what year is the car? should be canged every 5 years or 70ish k miles which ever is first

its 2005, it was serviced at 58k 2011

Be better if you traveled a bit further a field to have them done tbh. Either Birchdown in chester/Wales or BTM is Birmingham.

Yes they are! they used to race the 172/182 clios and are winners of the cup they now race the clio 200s and have nicholas hamilton on board as one of the drivers.

Pop in and and have a look about lee and kenny are very friendly people. also they are very competitive on prices have a butchers round the website above.

wish I'd done this too! for std belts change, birchdown aren't far mate. you'll need a day off in the week though but they'll give you a 'courtesy car' - probs a citroen nemo van like i got.

Used em for 9 years for everything NEVER had any problems with anything they have done , Did my belts etc 5 years ago and Going in again next month for my belts dephaser etc (2nd time since i have owned it had it 10 years this year ) .
Cant fault em .
