set timing correctly with correct tools with correct process.
The horseshoe went straight in. Perfect!
started the engine without aux belt on & jacked up.
it idle at 2k.
locked to TDC again and the horseshoe was very slightly off on the dephaser and catches the edge. it wont go in. without a wiggle (up down)
the cambelt tensioner is very slightly off perfect in the middle of notch(its still in the correct bit just not perfect.
would this cause this??
will i have to do it again eg timing???? and get the tension perfectly in the notch?
cheers
Edit:
I did prime the dephaser before starting up.
