Cambelt?

My cambelt was done at 44k in End of 2008 so am i right in thinking that by the end of this year it will need doing again as its every 5 years and is currently on 72k.

Im from Norfolk if anyone knows who is reasonable priced for cambelt changes.

I had a quote of Citren to do the Cambelt kit for £300 (excluding water pump, dephaser and aux belt)

Would people recommend getting these done aswell?

£300 is WAY too cheap, check exactly what they are replacing. You need far more than just a cambelt if you want a proper job done.

300 is about right for the parts cost, with no labour.

I would be getting it all done if it were you mate. And I would be getting it done sooner rather than later to be honest.

There must be a specialist near you. Take it to them.

Citren charge £300 for Cambelt + Pulley Fitted.

Dephaser, Aux and Waterpump are all extra.

I'll probably end up taking it to them to be done.
