Camcorder question please...

Can anyone recommend a camcorder (no more than £200) that works well if the light isn't very bright. Obviously if I take still pics in a poor light with my ordinary camera, I can use a flash, but if I try and take movie clips, they don't come out very well if the lighting isn't very good so I wondered if there is a camcorder that can adjust itself in some way to the lighting conditions... or is that a daft question?
