when i get a valver i want either black or naples red! black looks great when clean! and i think naples red is a classy colour! and get a phase 1, the lights are better, then get some ph2 seats! dont kno any of the other differences!

Just get the best looked after example you can find and sod the colour - thats not the most important factor when buying an old car.

If by some miracle you manage to find very well looked after examples of each colour then I would say naples red - bubbles has one and it looks very very nice. However, the valver looks really good in all the original colours IMO.

good point well taken there pal, i do know fairly well what to look for when i go to see one, and from past experiance i am fairly confident that i will find a good one, i reckon i will alow a budget of about 2.3k-2.7k. ive been lookin around and should be able to get a mint one for that!

Ive had 2 black cars and although black is the best when clean it is a fvcker to keep clean. It also shows up any defects more than any other colour (scratches, hazing etc)

I was aiming for Naples Red but ended up with 449 Sports Blue, and I actually really like it. Could do with a respray though cso its full of stone chips.

Naples red is my favorite standard colour, there is no bad colours though. Id go for one with no rust!!
