How can I test my ht leads ? Have a annoying miss on tick over , I have a multi meter but not sure of voltage etc ,

Test them for voltage? Good look doing that with a multimeter!

Even checking resistance is fairly pointless especially if it's intermittent as you've got to recreate the scenario so to speak

Just buy a new set there cheap enough
