Can i remove these ??

Stripping out the clio for its track diet now iv already changed the seats and also have an after market wheel but can i remove these and any sort of wiring to go with them??

They're the side impact sensors and part of the airbag system.

My 182 never had them .

Removing them should just put the airbag light on iirc. Unless you keep the airbag ecu and use CLIP or RS Tuna with airbag add on to disable them. Don't hold me to that though.

I'd like to remove them if possible.
i have no airbags in the car anymore, no set pretentioners etc etc, so the side impact bits are pretty pointless on there own now.

tbh, any wiring across the floor that's not needed I'd like to remove, but I can forsee further problems if I just literally cut the wiring back.

I had a stripped loom and it was fine. On my second loom I just tucked the wires up behind the dash.

Removing them wil bring the airbag light on regardless of using Clip etc. the only option is to tape over the bulb.

Personally, I'm not worried about a bulb lighting up, more if its going to cause any other issues if fully removed?

Yep, it's an impact sensor rather than an airbag. Just whip the lot out.

Sound the wiring that goes to it can that be removed ?? Iv noticed what looks like an earth going to the hand brake ?
