Don't think it's actual carbon fibre tho, i thought it was fibreglass with a carbon look finish

could use some polly resin and chop strand tape to repair it, then wet flat the join

you can repair it but you'll need to paint it matt/satin black afterwards so you wont have the cf effect anymore though

from the back of it, scuff it up so its rough and get yourself some guaze (sp) tape, its like a roll of sticky netting, i think builders use it, pretty cheap to buy. cut a piece off so it sticks the 2 pieces together and then smooth some fibreglass over the lot.

let that dry, turn it back over and sand it down with some P320 or something so the crack is smooth and you can then put a skim of fibreglass over/into the crack. rub that down when its dry, then fill it, prime and matt/satin black.

loads of people on here have bought broken splitters for £20 or so and repaired them

ah the joys of a CF splitter, granted there cheaper then the Renault ones but they don't last half as long.
