Can someone explain Ron 98 map?

Good evening,

I have seen people talking about the RON 98 Map available via the RS Tuner software / diagnostic equipment. I have not been able to find out much information on it though. Does it just smooth out the power curve / eliminate Renault's surge feeling at around 4.5k rpm or does it also do a lot more?

I am doing some other work on my car that may mean I need RS Tuner for calibration / diagnostics, so would like to know if this is something worth considering into the equation.

Basically

It raises the cold idle and rough running
Removes the 5k kick, in most cases so it's more flat and gradual
Raises rev limit
