Can Vodafone send my PAC code by text ?

Hey Guys

Im currently on Vodafone but im going to with 02 for the Iphone 3g S.

Im in my last 30 days of my contract and requested my Pac code, but Vodafone said it will come thorugh the post and cannot send by text.

They always say this, i have had it via text before.

Im really busy after today and wanted my new contract 02 sorted today.

Im going to go into the 02 shop and hopefully they will sort it.

Good idea ?

We send it by post mate, and sometimes outbound will call you with it.

I went into phones 4 u last time and they rang and demanded they gave the PAC code.

I know they send it by post but they can send it there and then via text ?

Ring them and try mate. You will be very lucky if they give it you there and then

I believe you can PAC an iphone to another number at any time after you purchase it ? So you can buy the phone / contract and use the PAC code when it arrives from Vodaphone ?
