Can you fit a rear spring upside down

As above a friend of mine fitted sport lines to my car an noticed the one was upside down :S would it make any difference let me no cheers

Ok i won't cheer.

Just take it off and put it the correct way round? 5 min job.

I didn't fit them lol would it make any difference to the handling as I've been thinking for ages that it didn't feel quiet right

i might be wrong but the rubber boot at the base will only fit snugly at one end won't it ?
 
I had this debate when putting mine on, in the end both went on with the writing to the back and so it could be read.

I couldn't have it upside down, i'd change it for peace of mind....personally.

surely just looking at the spring would answer that question!

theyre not progressively coiled, and they pig tail to and from the same diameter.
therefore there is no right or wrong way up.

BUT if you want the writing on your spring to be the legible, then best turn it over ;)
