i cant see any way to get it out, it is really annoying as keep getting in my way when working on the block.

it might just screw out then, does it have a brace on it ??? if it does, then unbolt the brace and see if it unscrews...

there should be a bolt ona tab into the block and after that its just an interference fit. just pulls out.

I cant seem to see anything ot take it off. I took the oil sensor off that sits next to it, but just cant seem to see anything that is holding it in.

you normally unbolt the tube from the engine and then the tube just pulls out of the block(has a couple of o rings sealing it in the block)

it was bolted to the manifold area before you stripped the engine.youve probably unbolted it without relising.just give it a wriggle and pull it out now.
