can you use a mark 2 clio jack on a mark 3 car

just wondered if it was possible to use the jack from a mark 2 clio on a mark 3 2006 model as mt sons car hasnt a jack

Iirc they have different jacking points and the mk2 jack is designed to lift on the sill. So I doubt it'd work.

I wouldn't want to use a mark 2 jack on a car, full stop.

I used a 182 jack on a 106 before. Wasn't a problem, although to be fair I could've propped the car up with an empty Coke can and it'd be fine.
