Any good for a point and shoot camera? Mum's seen one cheap and was thinking about going halfs on it with her if it's any good.

From the reviews I've read its a very capable little camera. Look into the G11 if you can as thats even better!

Only brought to our attention as it's down to £270, no a bad drop in price I thought.

Use to have a really old Powershot which was really good. Take a look into the Panasonic Lumix TZ-X range, they are awesome little cameras.

Just a touch more and you could get an Olympus E-600 from currys... if you felt like venturing in to the SLR world!
