Cant decide if i should sell up.

ive had the williams about a year and a half now, and tbf, (touch wood) nothing has gone wrong with it (at all). ive had the rust on the arch sorted, and all the bodywork sorted so theres no dents or marks and had the wheels refurbed and if i dont so say myself it looks great, one of the best imo.
the engine sounds a bit rough (tappety) in the morning but once its sat for about five mins it runs nice and quiet, and tbh thats ok with me as i let it run for 5mins in the morning before driving it, i suppose you cant have it all...
the thing is, im moving away and its going to involve a fair bit of travelling within the near future and i cant justify the kind of mileage i will be forced to put on the williams, in both what it will do to the car and in terms of cost. i cant decide wheather to sell it and get another car i dont mind hammering the mileage on, or get a newer car and just run that for a few years. whats weighing on my mind is the fact that its quite old now and presently i could afford to purchase and run a 2nd car but i dont want to eat too much into our deposit for a house which we will be buying next year hopefully. i mean, what space have i for a car which will make me get the train to work and only be used on the weekend? but i do love it, and its obviously a good'un as its done me so well. additionally its not worth too much less than what i bought it for, i reckon its worth £3,500.

in a perfect world i would hold onto it and get a second car and as my career progresses i would be able to spend more on it (or dedicate it as a trackcar), and more on a 2nd car.

i cant decide if love outweighs logic in this instance.

I spent 750 on my 106 and wish id done it a long time before.... its cost nothing to maintain in the 3500miles ive had it..... and the fuel economy is awesome..... by limiting the mileage on the VX Im using it what it was designed for, without piling commuting miles on it so keeping the value as high as possible.

I'd keep the WIlliams personally and just put the miles on it.

Yours seemed like it had a careful life after all the disks were original.

I don't think you'd get £3.5k for it though £2.5k is more liklly maybe £3k if you find someoen who'll pay for a cared for car.

I've thought a simialar thing about selling up but whats the point its more risk keep with what you know. You'll only ever regret selling the Williams or not using it ( I know I have).
