Cant get in help

locked myself out of car, all the locks have been removed, i opened the bonnet and locked the doors with fob and was supposed to take the battery off and leave the bonnet just open but clever me whilst closing bonnet hand slipped and it slammed shut, any ideas cheers.

no they wedged the door open with plastic wedges and used a long metal device otherwise known as a coat hanger to pull the handle.

they make you sign a damage waiver before they will attempt to gain entry but to be honest there wasnt a mrk on the car and the door wasnt even bent.

if you can fit it yoursef probably but do you really want to leave your car either

1 with a window smashed out or

2 with the keys in outside overnight?

not possible to get your hand up underneath the engine pay and pull the cable to release the bonnet catch?

a tip to anyone delocking their doors - always include a way of powering the c/l in the event of the battery failing (ie a plug low down in the engine bay to allow you to connect a battery to it in an emergency) - seen this done many times before.

use a bit of plastic banding used in parcel wrapping, about a meter long bit,

fold in half and slide inbetween the door and door seal, hook the folded end over the door pin tighten and lift !
