We have just got the latest Sony Bravia V Series TV and the pictures in HD are simply amazing. So much better than regular digital signals (incidentally, I found the old cathode TV a lot better in some types of program compared to the new TV, especially football).
As moreand more programs are recorded in HD, and more channels are able to broadcast in this medium, things will get a lot better. We have HD through NTL and whilst the pictures are awesome, I still think it is a little expensive for the amount of channels that are currently available. We don't have Sky Sports HD yet though which we are thinking about, as the movements of the players when in motion does not seem very smooth. My Dad suspects that Sky purposelly do this to get early adopters (like most of us in here I suspect!) to take up the new HD service. Does anyone have Sky Sports HD yet, or suffer from this problem without it on a larger LCD screen?
Cheers.
Anyone else try it?
Channel 145. Try and record it. Its a teaser for Planet Earth HD...
