Cant screw in Clio (2002) bulb!!

Hi,

I'm having real trouble screwing in my new headlight bulb. I opened the bonnet up, took out the dust cap, unscrewed the bulb and replaced it. 3 hours of trying to screw the bulb holder in later I've run out of ideas. I did it once before but it must be a fluke. Now my hands are cut and I am really pissed off at renault for this POS design!! Help!

Is this the dipped headlight on non xenon Clio's, with the twist in bulb holder?

The bulb holder is just the two pins at the topthat move outwards and pop back into the holder to secure it into place, if you understand what im saying.

Or are you talking about simply swapping the bulb?

3 hours? You could have removed the bumper and and the headlight in that time!
