Can't shift the bug...

Sold my ph1 172 a couple of weeks ago,

now its gone, i keep going back and searching 172 cup's

Think ive got the bug for them, and suprisingly the cup is quite a bit cheaper on insurance

anyone else not able to get away from the renaultsports?

Never really been interested in 182's if I'm honest.

And 172's are dirt cheap now, the fit the bill and what purpose I want it for.

Done this enough times too, now on my 7th RS Clio, and I'm keeping it until I can afford a second car. I've lost too much keep swapping cars!

people sell up far too quickly. Every time I considered changing or was getting bored I would drive the wife's car for a week and spend time searching through auto trader for suitable replacements, and it convinced me to keep it every time.

Had my LY 182 for 6 1/2 years before I changed, and that was more down to needing a diesel for doing long mileage for work. I would never have sold it if it were not for my job

Yeah I've had a few, they just tick so many boxes and for what they can do on the road they are comparatively pretty cheap to run.

I think I'll keep this one 'til it goes bang, which it will, then I'll probably have it rebuilt. As said above, lost too much on changing cars in the past - just need to get hold of a second car that is a bit more suited for things that come up in day to day life, such as speedbumps!

And Yellow Dave, noooo you should have kept it forever and ever!

I have been bitten by the BMW bug again , I put my cup up for sale in September then convinced myself I would be better keeping it because nothing else matches them for the price, handling, economy etc..... However for some reason the BMW bug has come back - god knows why as it snows outside !

Maybe I should feed the itch
