Hi guys, i've been registered on here for a few weeks now and joined as a member at the weekend. So I figured I'd better actually buy a Clio to make use of my discounts

So anyways, picking this up tomorrow...

Looks nice, mechanically it feels okay but my unique selling point is my dad's been a Renault mechanic for 30 odd years so not only can he get me cheaper parts but also the labour is free as well. Looking forward to hooking up with some of the SE guys soon and would love to have gone to CSS but gonna be spending the day at a family 60th birthday party

Well I picked the car up. Very impressed so far. Dont know what soiled my pants more, filling up with V Max or planting the loud pedal coming out of the garage....there's a bit of power difference between that and my laguna diesel

The one in the ad has both cup packs, yours has neither from what i can tell.

Well apparently it has the suspension pack but I've not checked. Yeah the text in the ad related to the car, the pics related to a car they'd sold a few weeks back. it does say, but in my excitement i just assumed it was the same one and I put a deposit down before they had chance to upload any snaps of the actual car.

yeah I think all small Renaults do. I remember my first one a 1975 Renault 5 850cc with a gear stick that came out of the dashboard, the gear stick would actually disconnect itself from the rest of the car if I drove it too quick. Happy days

Yeah, when you get to the gate just say you havent got a wristband and theyll point you to the cs marquee. A couple of people forgot to buy tickets etc so theyre doing that aswell. Or, you can look in the for sale bit, a few people are selling theirs because they cant go or whatever
