Can't turn 3g off on iPhone 4s?

Because of the way the 4s works I doubt it would save battery.

Like Tom said .. 5.1 BETAS let you turn 3G on/off .. and i would imagine on March 7th everyone on IOS will have that privilege

As an aside, is 5.1 going to fix Safari crashing and iPhones going into the "searching..." loop?

I'm a little bit miffed with Apple right now. Both my iPhone and iPad have problems that they didn't have before 5.
