Car alarm fault

Hi got problem with mk4 rs can lock the car and a few seconds later a loud continuous beeping will go off like a door or something is open but there all closed recently put a new battery in car could this have something to do with it any ideas

u can have them back did yours just stop doing it then ?

It picks and chooses when it does it. That and choosing not to recognise the key and locking me out with the key inside the other day
