Car alarm fault

Hi got problem with mk4 rs can lock the car and a few seconds later a loud continuous beeping will go off like a door or something is open but there all closed recently put a new battery in car could this have something to do with it any ideas

It picks and chooses when it does it. That and choosing not to recognise the key and locking me out with the key inside the other day 🙈
