got car back today very happy with the work that was done nice one andy, just got to get it on a rolling road and see what my power is

Are GDi using generic ECU maps on their cam package?? Thats the only explanation i can see to the answer he gave you about it 'not needing to'.

If you havent got a power figure now id lay money on you'll never get one

Point is GDi state they include a rolling road session and the lad says he never got one. Thats the issue

The before result is not stated so thats fine and in anycase this is usually extra from most tuners

I wouldnt spend over a £1000 on engine work and think hopefully it will be ok?


But anyway how does the car drive compared to how it was before, does it feel better? are you pleased with the "results"?

Mine put out 197bhp with just remap, inlets matched, decat, caf removed and S/S exhaust. Yeah right!

It will just be drivability improved and Mid-Ranged Torque that will have increased noticably with this package isn't it??........I'm no mechanic :S

It should probably just pull a little better and have a smoother power delivery compared to std

especially as yours is 'meant' to have 197bhp

Cams are best part of £600
Ecu tune ? 3-400
inlet match 150?
Labour 6hrs?
+vat
(These are all guesses cos mine cost in excess of 6k and i only have 233bhp)

my RR bill was £490 alone

and don't you pay extra for your house survey?
