To remove the swirls fully you should invest in a machine polisher such as a kestrel das-6, porter cable 7424 etc with appropriate pads/polishes (research on detailing world).
Alternatively you could pay one of the very capable guys on here to sort your paint out, then leave it with yourself to maintain.

Get rid of the sponge, use a microfibre wash mitten / cloth. Use a real leather to dry it off making sure you keep rincing it. You may want to use detailing spray now with a clay bar to go over the car, then time to gloss n swirl remove, If and if you cant afford a machine polisher then again use a microfibre cloth with some good gloss / pait restorer, Couple of coats then seal with a good sealent. Go to detailing world for info on good products, people have diffenernt preferences...they arnt cheap!
I say you cant go wrong with poorboys gloss and a tub of Finish Kare #1000P Hi Temp Sealant just my preference
LOL! A n00b taking the mickey and then suggesting using a leather!!!!
Ignore this. No offence, but judging by the statement, you shouldn't be advising on car detailing and swirl removal.
There is a sub-forum on car detailing. If you want to get the paint back to as new condition, then you will need paint correction. A full detail will set you back a lot of money, but it depends on your budget.

Unless I've misunderstood the laughing icon, followed by the statement of suggesting something else?
Try a plush microfibre drying towel, after spritz of QD (quick detailer) to prevent scratching.
Drying is the major cause of most swirl marks. A leather will have your pearl black looking like a spider's nest in weeks, not months or years.
edit; nice edit.
I haven't suggested I do know it all. What I have suggested is that you appear to be laughing (unless that icon appears in a different form on your screen?) at the previous poster's spot on suggestions, then go ahead and make suggestions of your own that will actually do more harm than good. Read the detailing section, then come back with your opinions on who to trust.

What is it with the n00bs today Mr 2008! x
OK, mis-understanding as tends to happen with written text.
Would suggest, to bring the thread back on course, that you change the leather to a towel such as the one linked below, will help you prevent against swirling;
