Car Insurance - Virgin

I'm trying to find a car insurer that won't rape me for monthly payments. The only one I've found that's interest free for paying monthly is Virgin. They quotes me 670 quid for 12 months, which was like 50 odd quid a month (I'm 21 with 2 years NCB), I got all excited but then realised the f**kers recognised my numberplate as a 1.2 clio for some reason.

I got quoted £672 by admiral, which was on the right car this time, but I imagine they either don't do monthly payments or they charge loads of interest. Any ideas?

you need to phone admiral up if you want to pay monthly. and yes, there is a fair amount of interest.
