car not starting

Got a problem, each morning go out to the car and the battery is flat, wont start. checked and the car is charging ok. starts first time with a bump or jump. charged the battery up and left it disconnected overnight. connected it up and it started fine, so obvously something on the car is discharging the battery overnight. where will i start to look now?

Car is a volkswagen polo btw.

maybe the alternator is on the way out?? check the battery with a multimeter mate, if its not holding charge then you need a new battery i think?
