Well I basically want something that I can wipe on and wipe off, or spray on what ever but it must be easy to take off, dont have time to rub in and that as dont even have anywhere to wash my car myself so has to be done at the garage. Oh the joys of living in central London, NOT!
This is the favourite from an Evo & Auto Express product test on cleaners if it helps.
It actually sounds perfect for you as you are short of time!

There is very little black trim on the 172 if that is what you have! Maybe you could ask in Halfords if you can take a bottle outside to try on the black trim of your car, BUT CHEEKILY TRY IT ON THE TRIM OF SOMEONE ELSES CAR IN THE CAR PARK!!
Maybe it says on the bottle whether you have to keep it off the trim, if so. spray it on a cloth and rub it in.
Total t*ss this stuff, leaves really bad water marks esp on front windows and bonnet!Quote: Originally posted by 2863 on 13 January 2005

ive found the meguiars quick detailer to be good. i use this between waxes but it gives a good result and protection over the car, and really really quick to put on and rub off. no marks on black plastic either.

(go to shop > enthusiast > maintain for details).

Or just buy some turtle wax as its made by the same people lol!Quote: Originally posted by MOB182 on 13 January 2005
If you want a cheap easy top notch shine, try Zymol cleaner wax from Halfords - about £12 a bottle
Gets rid of minor swirls as well
Anything from Meguiars is very good as well
If you can pay more (a lot more!), Swissol or Zymol waxes are awesome........
