car with 1 key??

Basically the car I'd like to buy comes just with 1 key.
Not hugely bothered about it, still, I was wondering what options are available to fix the problem

Can I get a copy of the key from MR Renault?
What's the damage for an ignition barrel+door lock+keys?

I think the summer is the worst period to get a light-weighted convertible lol
laid my eyes on a 172 cup atm, need something to make me happy till next year

This is a very good question. My barrells aren't working and just spin and only have 1 key. Where can i get another and the locks changed?

renault will be able to get you a new key, will cost alot tho because they will charge for it to be coded to the car, they can get the same key using your chassis number.

unless something has changed over the years this is the only way i know you can do it

i got mine and had only one key until i snapped it in my ignition by accident, got that sorted and got another one at extortion basically, but i went down to the local key cutting place and for about 30 quid i got another key with a chip indie coded for my car and works fine with the immobiliser, its now the key i use because its a bit chunkier thatn the one i paid loads for on the day i broke the first one. so just get another one cut id say

Yeah, a lot of places can copy the chip. A lot cheaper than buying a new one!

For another ecu, locks etc there's a lot of them on eBay. You can usually get them in one buy
