Car won't lock ?

Is there a knack to it ? I press the button, the hazards flash twice. But the long beep doesn't stop ?

Yep, or one of the doors isn't shut properly.

All doors shut, I have been under thre bonnet. Could I have knocked something ?
Even when I lock the doors manually, the long beep comes on after about 2 mins ?

Is the plastic shut button thing still in it's place under the bonnet?

its just above the passenger headlight to the left slightly

Yep, it's the nipple thing sticking up on the right of the grill plate, just next to the sticker,
you might want to check it's wires and make sure it's still plugged in.

You could also hold it down and lock your car to see if it still works.

My nipple thing isn't sticking out the top of the grill, it's hanging down. When I eventually found it.
But hey presto, pressed it and car locked.
Thanks everyone, just got to figure how to get it threaded round. But got some new headlights coming this week so might do a duck tape jobby then wait until lights arrive.

Talk to Renault Wolverhampton in the traders section, if it's a part that can be replaced they'll have it.

Either do what @DaveDreads suggested and speak to @Renault Wolverhampton or go to a breakers yard. I could be wrong but surely the nipple should be the same for any Clio. Double check with someone first however.
