Car wont Start Help !!! (sister's)

sister went into her car earlier and tried startin just didnt do, tried jumpstartin didnt do, put petrol(she likes to run low) nuffin happend, any1 kno what could be the problem?? it tries to start but doesnt actualy fire up.

help ??

sorry its a Renault Clio 02 1.2 16v Dynamique

try shutting all doors and doing the remote locking then open again to see if the immob was stuck on, then check the battery connections they work themselves loose!!!
