Car wont start! :(

Well tried to start the beaut but wouldnt..

Wasnt the imob as the light went off and there was sufficient battery power.. Non the less jump started and failed.

The Coil Pack light came on as well as the Engine stop light started flashing *not the stop light near the imob light*

AA man came.. Couldnt diagnose the problem and there were no fault codes on his laptop or.. on the dash (i did the ecu flasshing thing)

As he went to arrange the toe. by freak of nature it started but the chap recommended it went in.

So its in renault park royal now hopefully gettin seen to.

Any one had this problem its due the majour service this year and has had no warrenty work done yet.

Sounds nasty mate, sorry can't offer any advice but from one flame red owner to another I hope it's nothin' serious!

Change coil and TDC sensor - also check FBW t/b

Ive had this problem for 2 years, renault still cant find anything wrong with it

thanks for ure comments.. sux abit but the service chaps metioned the coli pack may changing. I seriously hope that somthing gets sorted.. Literally started by luck, like the "back to the future 1 bit on the drive to the clock tower"

ill let u know the progress MIke-bham then probs u could get ure sorted.

well some nasty crap news..

Electrics may have been tampered with ..

Fuses, relays, and couple of wires need replacing.
The centre and rear exhaust mounts need replacing.

Cost of repairs and labour - investigation fee = 550 pounds please sir.

not good.

Not good at all, take it its not under warrenty then?

Mines back with Renault again tonight......
