Car wont start

Hi,

I have a clio 182 cup 54 plate 69000 miles. Recently I tried to start the car and it wouldn't start, all that happens is that it makes a click when i turn the ignition and another click when i turn the ignition back to normal. I have changed the alternator as the battery light came on, changed the battery and the starter motor but still it will not start.

Has anyone had any experience of this before and if so what did you have to do to fix it.

Maybe a bad earth?

Sounds like an earth yeh.

I always recommend just connecting the battery -ive to the body with a jump lead and try it then just to check the main earth straps. this happened on my old clio
