Carbon Bonnet

Hi everyone, I've had a carbon bonnet on my car for sometime now and its started to fade with the sun, theres also stone chips etc etc. I was just wondering if anyone had any advise or knew anywhere that would sort this

If it's a K-tec one I've posted up a thread about the lacquer on mine failing. A couple other people have the same probs. Dave at K-tec says he is looking into it with the manufacturer as it appears the lacquer isn't up to scratch. Mine looks a proper mess and I hate it

I've had my Ph1 K-tec bonnet for some time now - The fitting isn't perfect I have to say but i've no problems with pealing. (yet)

Same mate mine is horrible now and it makes the car look a mess just wondering if there is a way to rub it down and apply new resin or something

Cheers for the advise but i would rather let the carbon fibre show, if i was going to colour code i would of bought a fibre glass bonnet

Im waiting to hear back from K-tec about mine but they're taking a while. To be honest I'm not going to want a replacement. I'd rather some kind of refund to get it looked at by a bodyshop up here otherwise I've got to mess about getting a new one drilled and fitted again and then I know I'd not be happy with the lacquer on it so would still want a bodyshop to put some clear on it for me. Would sooner get this one rubbed back and relacquered if that's a possibility. Mine is such a mess I actually hate my car now and haven't wanted to wash it in a couple months
