Carbon box induction kits

Ive got the piper x viper from K-tec the car feels much better than when I had the K+N on.

Got a Viper on my Cup and we did some tests on the rollers with a couple of cars that showed that there was a small gain at the peak, but the real benefits are in the mid-range as the power & torque are increased where you really need it most!

Heres a graph showing a standard car vs one with a Viper (no other mods) and you can clearly see where the gains are...

Theres also similar ones like the BMC CDA and ITG Maxogen.

did u have cup checked for "lean" at top end rpm ? what was result ?

how much is the BMC and do you get an adapter plate or anything with it?

BMC is approx £175 from demon tweeks but Im sure Ive read on here that you can get them for £160 with cliosport discount, cant remember where from though.

Think Viper including its cold feed pipe is about £250 rrp - again think its about £225-£230 with discount

ITG Maxogen is available in a universal fitment version and think the price is about £330 without discount

BMC looks good value for money when you consider you can pay £100 for an open IK that sucks hot air in

My car was 1 of the cars mentioed by Rich-D. Here is the chart. The fainter dotted line is with the original airbox! You can see the better mid-range with the viper on.

Yes, when it was on the rollers they checked the fuelling and it was a tiny bit on the lean side, but not enough to cause any problems or damage.

Gonna get an R-Sport ECU eventually though, which sorts this out.
