Hi guys, I know carbon canisters have been done to death, but having read all of them I can’t find the answer I’m looking for. I have a clicking coming from the front of the car. I also have an EML on, Whilst tidying a few bits on the car up with the lights and wing removed I notice the line from the tank to the canister is split/holed. I was going to tape over, as I don’t really want to remove the whole carbon canister system. Could the split in the host be the reason for a noise solenoid click, also souls the hole be a reason for the EML being on? If so would fixing the pipe by shortening and refitting (or taping over) remedy anything. I’ll likely give it a go tomorrow anyway, but thought I’d ask before adding to another list of jobs
