carbon canister purge valve

my engine management light came on yesterday so i hooked the dianostic computer upto the car today. carbon canister valve solinode shows as a fault and wont clear! itas still working though as a can hear the bugger ticking:dapprove:

I unplugged mine on my 182, didnt bring any lights on although may show on CLIP.

Didn't get any lights removing mine, but it did come up on diagnostics. Any other fault codes?

i read this but its plugged in there and the fault is there. any ideas how much a new one is?
