Carbon fibre lower bumper strip

Anyone with a 172 done this yet - think it would look good - the black plastic strip in the lower bumper done in real carbon fibre - some of the big mercedes and bmw SUVs have something similar!

Sounds cool, but then when you bottom out you need to get another one. Not cheap..

As far as in know insurance would only get you your standard splitter back.

its only on 172 rear bumpers - u have the colour coded bumper then a plastic black insert recessed in. Look at any of the photos on here.

Oh rite. Well i guess if you went around the car and replaced a lot of bits with carbon fibre it might prove to be a good overall effect. Like maybe gandor carbon mirrors, fabricated foglight surrounds?
