look tidy. would be better if they were made with the clips etc so they were a direct swap.

Agreed but according to Bic, the clips would have near enough doubled the cost of producing them. :dapprove:

doubled the price? they were a stupid price to start with. serve no purpose han to look good (on the right car).

Surely on a RS Clio carbon will never serve any purpose other than aesthetics? :S

Normal sealent is fine as long as you leave it overnight to dry. Bit of masking tape to hold them on will help them to stick better.

ive got some in the post too. not really a daft price when my current mirrors are scratched to buggery because the previous owner couldnt park in the garage properly and respraying them professionally would cost about £40 anyway.

£49 isnt the end of the world, and its something different for a car that doesnt have many options to do to it

Well I would have fitted them but I seriously cannot remove my OE mirror covers! I don't think they've ever been off before! :dapprove:

Anyone any tips?

Force them off, thats what I had to do yesterday! Broke a couple of clips but wasn't fussed as was replacing them.
I used a flat headed screwdriver covered with a cloth to prise sections off.

BOMBER, Slightly off Topic, But are you on a Skyline forum?

So £49 for the pair not too bad :)

yep am on the gtroc, had a r32 before this. are you the guy in brum who PM'd me about the RS clio a while back?

Nope, Im on thre but havent posted.

I'm thinking of getting some of these and a carbon bonnet on a black Clio, High 5? Where do you get them from?

How much are the carbon door mouldings?

Just seen them on their demo car at trax and not impressed for £60, poor finish and dont fit flush. Really wanted some too but wont bother now!

The finish of the carbon is optional apparently, raw or laquered. I was speaking to a "streamline" guy at trax earlier about it all, i'm after a 197 diffuser.

I saw those too and to be honest the finished article does look a better finish, but if they fit anywhere near as bad as those on the demo car then I'll be sending them back without a doubt!

Bomber - Look great, 2nd generation development well worth the effort, the 1st ones we did the night before FCS were a salvaged mould in all honesty, hopefully these pics will convince the doubters ;)
