Carbon fibre protection

i had a read through this months fast car mag (with the red gt86 on the cover) and it mentioned carbon fibre protection. mainly from uv rays.
typically i cant find the mag now but wondered if anyone has any knowledge of this. ive seen a few bonnets go manky and i dont want mine going the same route.

any info appreciated

Are we talking lacquered carbon fibre here gents? If so, whatever waxes or sealants you want - treat it the same as you would paintwork.

Would a sealant be better? (I think they have better UV protection?) or would it just make no odds

Depends on the sealant, some waxes have very good UV protection properties.
