Carbon wrapping advice!!!

Will be looking to wrap my front badge and fog light surrounds when my wrap turns up. What I would like to know is, do I cut the vinyl and wrap it around the back of the badge slightly and tuck in. Or cut it flush with the edges of the badge?

..and use a little bit of heat if you can.

I'm sure the missus wont mind me using the hairdryer. So cut and tuck a minimal amount behind. Dont want the clips being stressed from pushing outwards
