Carlube 75w90 for gearbox?

Done a quick search but want to be sure what the current opinion is, 75w90 is fine to use yeah?

3.1L the box isnt it? and 3 will do?

The 75w/90 oil and volume are both fine as 3.1l actually overflows the fill point on most boxes as its actually quite hard to fully drain them (as does 3l).

That's what i use in the V6, good stuff! (Although the V6 doesn't like it so much when its hot, but that's probably my fault)

na, 3.1 is for a new box (bone dry)

Honestly, you will be fine with 3litres of that stuff unless it's a complete bare bone strip, rebuild and reinstall of the box. In truth, even then it wouldn't kill it to be 0.1l under
