Great pics as always.

Thanks for the thong on my plate by the way.

It had been under my seat for far to long, needed a new home.

Fair enough, you have had it since trax. Already passed on to a new owner, when they find it ;)

Did you get a chance to take any pics of the cs stand ?

Oh really like the look of the 106 gti sporting a bit of advertising for you on the sunstrip.

By the time I changed lenses to do any static pics you (apart from a the Liquid 182) had all gone home, hence only pics on Dee's and Mine.

I know Dee took some though.

I was stunned at the paint on your car rich - Im gettin a black car next so might have to pop up and see you - could be some more cash for you to help pay for the lenses?!?

I thought Rob showed everyone on Sat Dee.

Sounds a good price Neil, I payed a lot more than that for mine with the kit lense!

Cheers Tim - lol no probs!

Top pics Rich, always enjoy seeing yours from Combe, always a bit different from most I see.

Most of them are pin sharp, 1/250?

Cheers Chris. The rate of Keepers seems to be going up. Was having a 'mare with the sun, had walked the whole circuit once already by 11.

Different in a good or bad way ?

Most where shoot at 1/320 as I had used the 300mm prime all day, still no monopod so it gets heavy after a while.

Different in a good way, I see about 10 different photographers pics after a Combe day and most are very similar to each other, you always find a slightly different angle and/or take your pics at a slightly different time to everybody else which gives a really dynamic look even at a relatively fast shutter speed, especially at Quarry. I wish I could go there but the power lines completely wipe me out, I even have to go down into the car park to walk around if I'm doing a lap of the circuit!

So yes, I like them :)

Cheers Chris. I really want a monpod this season to try some lower shutter speeds with the 300mm on. I am fine at lots slower shutter speeds with the 200mm on but find it is to short at Quarry, Camp or Tower.

I thought of you on Sat as some people near by where talking about feeling odd, I have only ever noticed it once during the rain.

Anything goes on Combe action days.

One Saab caught fire on track!

Me and Jen saw that happen, everyone was running round shouting for a fire extinguisher, took the marshalls at least 3 minutes to get down to it, which is pretty lame, the thing could have blown!!

I would have loved to have gone to this as it's not too far from me, it looks like you all had a great day, it would have been good to meet you guys too. I'm not a paid member of CS though, would this matter. Can you only join CS over the net or can you join by cheque / cash at an event?

There was CS stand ( did not park on it myself) but anyone can go along. I go to most of the Combe action day events regardless of the club being there.

You can join by Cheque, drop (Emma) Pootle a PM.
