castrol SRF

Is this DOT 4 fluid or DOT 5.1?! I've looked on a bunch of sites but can't see any mentioning it!! I'm fitting brake lines as soon as i get a chance so am after some high quality DOT 4 fluid, can anyone suggest any if the castrol one isn't? Also i'm in basingstoke and would prefer to pick it up in person but have know idea of what shops, within half hour drive, might have it. Any suggestions? Thanks

Castrol srf is about 40 quid a litre . Castrol response is dot 4 and is more than adequate for what you'll need and its hell of alot cheaper

ok thanks. My local halfords is the only place i can think to look and all they do is there own brand which i think i'll pass on, any ideas where will sell castrol response?

Demon tweeks . If it's only for road use Halfords own DOT 4 will do , or something like Comma DOT 4 . Pointless goin over board imo

i'm lokking for road and track days and will go for the castrol response but what kind of shops will sell it? All basingstoke has is a halfords and camberley auto factors :dapprove: Does anyones know if most other halfords sell the castrol?

Halfords don't sell Castrol response anymore , or should i say , they didn't last time i went for some .

Response is widely available - you should be able to find a local motorfactor who stock it
