Cat Back Exhaust Fitting Question

Hi
I'll be replacing my exhaust for a KTec Stealth over the coming days and to save getting the car out of the garage to check I wondered what size bolts are the two that connect the centre pipe to the Cat, also what size gasket is used? Mine are rusted up so will need replacing and will replace the gasket for peace of mind.

Buy the cat gasket kit comes with new gasket nuts bolts and springs

Also you might want to buy good exhaust brackets as I found the ktec a bit crap

M8 bolts about 40mm lenght can replace the renault ones,gasket is about £3 from euro car parts.

Your thinking of the cat to manifold joint. The one im talking about is a simple two bolts with a gasket between.

Do you know what type of washers if any are on there?

I just use one at each side to stop the head and nut digging in. It's a solid joint with no movement.

Do you not use a spring washer or anything due to vibrations?
