CAT fitment on different clio

I need a cat for my mot, a neighbour has a 1.6 rxe auto its off the road for worn tyres and it looks to be almost the same fitting cat. Would this fit onto my clio 1.4 both have same looking engine is it E7J. I just need it for mot? any ideas if its a straight swap
