Cat on eBay

I've seen some pretty good value ones on eBay for between £79-99 for the 182. Are these likely to be a load of kaka? Should I spend the exta and get a Miltek or similar?

Yeah mainly. I bought the car without a cat, so would be interested to see what difference it would make to the noise and performance too.

If I was you I'd get a second hand genuine cat off here / eBay. My old 182 had an aftermarket cat, it was very restrictive and had quite a noticeable effect on performance.

i bought one for about £80, only gets thrown on a car come mot time and goes through fine as long as lambda sensors are ok.

Could start a cat share club for MOT's! I should be taking mine off tomorrow but the centre section has been welded to it.
