cat or de-cat? I mean - keh?

Just got me a sport 172 53reg. I was thinkin of de-cattin it. Im a bit worried that it might upset the ECU or some other settings on the car, these things have so many electrial bits and computers I didnt want t buggr it up. Any advice would be great.

you will be ok as long as you leave the second sesor out, no light will come up, also janspeed or devil sell the decatd for around 130
